PURPOSE:To provide a metal carbide jig durable to repeated use and capable of improving the productivity, e.g. a weight for the production of a product necessary to be heat-treated at a high temperature, e.g. carbon substrate. CONSTITUTION:The metal carbide jig is made of a metal carbide having a purity of >=98wt.%, a melting point of >=1500 deg.C and a true density of >=10g/cm<3> or a sintered material produced by sintering a composite carbide containing the metal carbide to attain a density corresponding to >=90% of the true density of the metal carbide. |
