<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the cuff for a sphygmomanometer which can exactly measure the blood pressure value of a living body during motion by including a extendable and contractable sheet which can extend and contract the cuff for compressing the living body in a wound state into the cuff for the sphygmomanometer. CONSTITUTION:The cuff 10 is constituted of a longitudinal cloth bag 56 in which a rubber bladder 58 is housed. This cloth bag 56 is constituted of a power stretch woven fabric woven by a prescribed weaving method using bout 85% raw yarn made of nylon subjected to, for example, stretching, and about 15% raw yarn made of elastic polyurethane fibers at a prescribed yarn density. Then, the cloth bag 56 is stretched when such force as to exert a relatively large fluctuation on the pressure in the rubber bladder 58 is applied on the cuff 10 during the running motion of the living body, by which the pressure fluctuation in the rubber bladder 58 is adequately absorbed. As a result, the generation and annihilation of Korotkov's sounds are surely detected even during the motion.</p> |
