<p>PURPOSE:To simplify machining, reduce the cost, and improve the strength reliability by providing multiple projections on the outer periphery of a ring coupled on the outer periphery of an outer cup, and integrally coupling and fixing the ring on the outer periphery of the outer cup. CONSTITUTION:Projections 2 are provided on the outer periphery of a ring 1, a notch section 6 coupled with the ring 1 is provided on the outer periphery of an outer cup 3, and the ring 1 is coupled and fixed to the notch section 6. When the ring 1 is coupled and fixed on the outer periphery of the outer cup 3, the projections 2 on the outer periphery of the ring 1 are driven into a pelvis to fix the outer cup 3 to the pelvis. When the ring 1 is not coupled and fixed on the outer periphery of the outer cup 3, the outer cup 3 is fixed to the pelvis with screws via screw holes 5. The outer cup 3 provided with the projections 2 having high strength reliability can be obtained in a short time at a low cost, and an outer cup provided with projections on the outer periphery and an outer cup having no projections on the outer periphery can be separately used.</p> |
