The turbine, surrounded by a flat or hollow deflector ring (1) and with or without a separating partition (3), is conical in shape and truncated at both front and rear. The truncated rear surface can be equipped with a hollow semicircular-section annular deflector (7). The truncated front face of the turbine cuts through the vanes, with the cut-away sections replaced by an independent conical ring which acts as a fixed collector. The ring can have a curved cross-section with its convex surface facing inwards and with its rear edge lying parallel to the turbine's axis. The outer surface of the collector can be joined to the separating partition (3) to form a strong assembly. ADVANTAGE - Smaller dimensions and higher efficiency at reduced cost.
