PURPOSE:To prevent uneven printing on heat-sensitive paper by a method wherein quantity of heat generated by a heater-resistor element is increased by the elongation of printing time for a group of dots when the number of dot exceeds the point where a change in visible depth of printing apparatus. CONSTITUTION:The indication for one horizontal line of the print-out of heat- sensitive paper is performed by all of the 256 pieces of heater-resistor elements R1-R256 by printing every unit of 64 bits of each block sequentially in such a way that while data (da) of the first 64 bits being printed on the heat-sensitive paper by the group of heater-resistor elements R1-R64, the following group of data (da) of the unit of 64 bits from 65th bit to 128th bit is inputted in a shift register (61). And by the input of the next main scan synchronizing signal MS, the indication for the second one horizontal line of the print-out is printed in synchronization with the heat-sensitive paper fed sequentially. By repeating the printing for one horizontal line of the print-out in this way, the print of any desired letter or figure can be obtained on the heat-sensitive paper. |
