SPHERICAL TETRACALCIUM PHOSPHATE AND HYDRAULIC CALCIUM PHOSPHATE CEMENT COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To obtain a tetracalcium phosphate having a specific shape, excellent in kneading property in high powder/liquid ratio and excellent in sliding property between particles and to obtain a hydraulic calcium phosphate cement composition capable of obtaining a cement paste having excellent flowability, packing property and a hardened cement body having sufficient strength. CONSTITUTION:This spherical tetracalcium phosphate has <=150mum particle diameter and >=0.8 average circularity and is not hollow. The hydraulic calcium phosphate cement composition contains tetracalcium phosphate containing 20-100wt.% of the spherical tetracalcium phosphate, dicalcium phosphate and/or calcium phosphate.
