摘要 PURPOSE:To eliminate elusion of impurities and adsorption of chemical components without deformation even subjected to sterilization by molding medical equipment material using a thermoplastic norbornene based resin excellent in heat resistance, low absortivity and low elusion property. CONSTITUTION:Medical equipment material is formed using a thermoplastic norbornene resin with 10.000-200.000 in average molecular weight on a polystyrene conversion basis and with less than 1wt.% in the content of a resin component of below 2.000 by a gel permeation chromatography analysis with toluene as solvent. The available method for molding is an injection molding, a blow molding method, an injection blow molding method, rotary molding method or the like. An example of the medical equipment material to be molded is a medical fluid container for injection, an ampule, a prefield syringe, a bag for transfusion or a solid chemical container. The medical equipment material thus obtained is excellent in heat resistance, moisture resistance and transparency and adsorption of chemicals and exudation of organic matters or the like are limited thereby eliminating the denaturalizing of any chemicals contacting it.
