PURPOSE:To efficiently produce a microcapsule by introducing steam into the space of a wall film forming jacketed reactor until an emulsion reaches the overflow outlet of the space when the emulsion is sent into the reactor to wet the inner wall of the reactor with the condensed steam. CONSTITUTION:An oily liq. contg. a capsule core material is emulsified and dispersed in an aq. liq. to form a synthetic-polymer wall film at the liq. droplet interface to produce a microcapsule. In this case. when the emulsion is sent into a wall film forming jacketed reactor 1, steam is introduced into the space in the reactor 1 until the emulsion reaches the overflow outlet 8 of the space of the reactor 1 to wet the inner wall of the reactor 1 with the condensed steam. Consequently, the capsule is not adhered to the inner wall, the resistance to heat and solvent is not deteriorated, and the deposit on the inner wall need not be cleaned off in the wall film forming reaction. |
