PURPOSE:To provide more safety and higher reliability for a sheet transferring device by effectively transferring sheet originals. CONSTITUTION:Plural OHP films 28 are previously wound up around a core cylinder 6 together with a film sheet 8 in an opposite pressure to a description and held. Then, a pulse motor 27 is driven to transfer the OHP film 28 together with the film sheet 8 to a projection area A via transferring roller pairs 5, 16 in such a manner that the film sheet 8 is wound up around the core cylinder 6, and the motor 27 is stopped. To replace the OHP film 28, the pulse motor 27 is driven again to transfer the next OHP film 28 together with the film sheet 8 to the projection position A. Additionally, to reproject the film 28 which is already projected, the pulse motor 27 is reversely driven to transfer the OHP film 28 in an opposite direction for removal.
