PURPOSE:To make action of an auxiliary brake due to pump load work effectively and prevent overrun of an engine. CONSTITUTION:A power transmission device 18 with a clutch 19 for auxiliary brake is provided between a running drive shaft 17 and a pump drive shaft 9a, and the running drive shaft 17 and the pump drive shaft 9a are connected directly by turning off a lock up clutch 2 of a torque converter 3 and a clutch for work 8 and turning on the clutch 19 for auxiliary brake due to the operation of an auxiliary brake switch so that pump load acts on the wheel 6 side directly.
