<p>PURPOSE:To provide the subject production method so designed that the organs of Angelica acutiloba for which efficient proliferation method for varieties of superior quality has not been established are sterilely cultured to enable mass clone proliferation and also plant body regeneration from cells. CONSTITUTION:The organs of Angelica acutiloba are cultured in an artificial medium with the nitrogen level adjusted to <=20 mM to induce and proliferate adventitious seedlings or callus. Thence, the resulting seedlings or callus is transplanted to an artificial medium with the nitrogen level adjusted to >=20 mM to effect regeneration into a plant body. Thus, for Angelica acutiloba useful as a crude drug, it has been made possible to perform efficient mass clone proliferation of varieties of superior quality. Also, plant body regeneration from cells has become possible, facilitating breeding.</p> |
