MANUFACTURE OF NOZZLE FOR INJECTION MOLDING

PURPOSE: To provide a method for obtaining an injection molding nozzle having a desired nozzle length and a melt channel diameter in combination of components manufactured in different predetermined sizes. CONSTITUTION: A nozzle rear part 92, a nozzle front part 122 and a connected member 112 made of a steel in predetermined sizes are manufactured. A predetermined quantity are prepared for each size of the parts 122. The part 122 of a certain size is selected, and combined as one set with the part 92 and the member 112. A melt channel passing through the part 92 and the member 112 is enlarged to meet an inner diameter of the melt channel 124 formed at the part 122 as needed. The assembled components are integrally brazed to form the nozzle having a desired length and the channel diameter.
