The coil (2) surrounds an armature (3) of magnetic material and is wound on a magnetic guide (4) having a substantially cylindrical section (5) around the seating (6) within which the armature slides w.r.t. a fixed pref. magnetic pin (11). This acts as a distributor of fluid through two longitudinal channels (14,16) and two transverse channels (15,17) between a pressurised source and a load. The armature is moved into contact with the base of the seating so that an annular chamber (13) connects the source to the load when the coil is energised. ADVANTAGE - A simpler and more compact structure includes only small moving masses and has high electrical and mechanical efficiency in rapid starting even in relatively frequent operations.
