In a process for recovery contaminated glue from machinery used in envelope prodn, the glue is initially separated from coarser contaiminants and fed to a fluid phase separator where the clear liquid phase is extracted for reuse. The use of a separator based on centrifugal action for the recovery of glue from envelope prodn. machinery is claimed. USE/ADVANTAGE - For recovery of contaminated glue used in envelope prodn. machinery. The process is economical and gives the highest possible return of quality glue and hence reduces the amount of material for disposal.
