<p>PURPOSE:To insolubilize the vanadium ions eluted in paper material and make paper by mixing barium salts into the paper material of monolith catalysts. CONSTITUTION:Carrier material or carrier precursor such as titanium oxide and aluminum oxide or catalyst material or catalyst precursor composed primarily of vanadium pentaoxide such as vanadium pentaoxide or ammonium metavanadate is mixed among beatable and heat-resistance fibers such as glass fibers and Teflon fibers, whereby paper form monolith catalysts are produced. At this time, barium salts such as barium hydroxide are mixed in the paper material to prevent the dissolution of vanadium pentaoxide, etc. which are slightly soluble in water, whereby the catalysts are inexpensively produced.</p> |
