Appts. has an electrically driven belt for feeding vertical bottles, an adjustable=height shrinkage housing attached to one longitudinal side of the feeder belt, and a hand-operated two-stage switch which activates the belt to move it at constant speed when a heating current has been switched on. The fig. shows the adjustable-height shrinkage housing (5) over the belt conveyor (12), and the two-stage switch (11). The appts. may be placed on a table (1). The adjustable mounting (2,3) holds the housing contg. ceramic ir-radiators (6), with a centre slot through which the bottles (14) and heat-shrink caps (16) are moved. The bottles are pref. moved (15) on the belt (12) which has a guide (17-19) to ensure that the bottles pass through the slot in the heater (5) and this system is opt. adjusted by screws (22). ADVANTAGE - Unlike existing appts. for the purpose this device does not move to the bottles for its function. It ensures that the heating time remains constant for all bottles used.
