<p>Member for bipolar electrolysers comprising a peripheral flange with a flat surface suitable for attachment to seals, the said flange enclosing a flat wall comprising conductive supports on which electrodes are fixed mechanically or by welding, characterised in that it is manufactured from plastics material obtained by the mass polymerisation of monomers having norbornene groups. The said member is further characterised in that it is provided with a metal corner piece having a quadrangular section contained within the said peripheral flange. The said member is further characterised in that the said conductive supports are protected by capsules consisting of highly corrosion-resistant material, the edges of the said capsules being sealed by the said plastics material. <IMAGE></p> |
