Feed arrangement for injection moulding, for feeding a mass extruding from an injection moulding machine to a mould, which has a closed end chamber (7) in the flow direction sufficiently large to accommodate the residual plasticised mass in the injection moulding machine during the next cycle. The large diameter feed channel (2) in mass flow direction has a branch channel (5) at right angles terminating in the mould cavity (6) and a closed end beyond the branch, which forms the closed end chamber (7) with a vent slot (4) at the end. The mould has a parting line (9) at right angles to the closed end channel (2) and running through the branch channel (5). USE/ADVANTAGE - The claimed invention is used for injection moulding with metallic and ceramic powders, to prevent filling the mould with the residual mass in the injection moulder during the next cycle.
