An L-section blade (3) with a projecting edge (2) is screwed (6) to the face of a square block (1) of Al having its frontal surface oriented at right angles to the plane of the thick-film printing screen (5). A set-screw (8) working through a bracket (7) in the centre of the surface is rotated until the centre of the edge (2) of the blade is displayed by an amount corresp. to the sag (D) of the screen and secured by a screw working through a slot (9) into a threaded hole (11). ADVANTAGE - The appts. delivers a uniform layer of paste and is easily and quickly adaptable to screens having different deg. of sag.
