The mobile X-ray machine has a C-shaped mounting arm (3) with an X-ray source (4) and X-ray image intensifier (5) mounted on a trolley (1). The C-aim (3) is mounted on a carrier (9) which allows rotation of the C-arm. The carrier (9) is adjustable in height by extending the mounting column (7, 8). The control panel for the machine (2) is adjustable in height, and positioned for ease of use in operation the X-ray machine can move over an operating table. ADVANTAGE - Increased flexibility of use compared with conventional X-ray machines, ergonomic design of controls and positioning mechanism. Appropriate for surgery use.
