The transmitter A, Fig. 1, and the receiver B, Fig 2, of a hydraulic telemotor system suitable for operating the throttle control lever 9 of a carburetter each comprises a liquid e.g. kerosenecharged bellows tube 1 sealed at one end to an axially aligned rigid guide tube 2, 3 connected at the ends of a conduit 15 extending between A and B and sealed at the other end to a guide rod 4 which extends through the bellows tube for preventing collapse, and the end of the rod remote 'from the seal slides within the guide tube 2, 3. The sealed end of each guide rod is respectively connected to the accelerator pedal 8 and lever 9 both of which are loaded by a light spring. The device may be applied to throttle valves, metering pumps and outboard motor controls. |
