<p>The invention relates to a pulse compression device. The pulses to be compressed being frequency-modulated, the device includes at least one transmission line (34) whose cutoff frequency varies along its axis of propagation and means (33) for separating an incident wave and a reflected wave, which means are loaded by the transmission line (34) and receive the pulses to be compressed which reflect along the transmission line, the variation in the cutoff frequency and the frequency modulation of the pulses being tuned.
