PURPOSE:To enable measurement with high sensitivity, easily and definitely, by operating FeCl3 and K3[Fe(CN)6] with catechol compound and its metabolite and using the difference of reaction between the catechol compound and its metabolite. CONSTITUTION:The sample (such as extracted material from urine) containing catechol compound (catechol amine, etc.) and its metabolite (such as methoxihydroxiphnyl compound) enters from the injector 7, the buffer solution 10 is fed to the injector 7 with the pump 11, and the mixture of sample and buffer solution is kept at constant temperature with the circulating constant heat vessel 9. It enters the reaction vessel 1 via the high speed liquid chromatography column 8. The water solution of reagent FeCl3, K3[Fe(CN)6] is mixed in the mixture tank from the tanks 2 and 3 and fed to the reaction tank 1. The spectrophotometer 12 is connected after the reaction tank 1 to measure the absorbance, and the liquid after measurement in record 13 is discharged to the waste liquid tank 14. The absorbance is measured at the wavelength near 600-700nm and each content is estimated definitely. |
