Holder for an information medium, with a support and a window and a slot between them to accommodate an information medium. The window 7, 107 has a first and a distinctly separate second part 24 and 25; 124 and 125, which parts are each arranged in order to retain an associated first and second part of the information medium 13, 113. The second part 25; 125 of the window is provided with a stop 26, 126 to guide a read-out instrument. The holder according to the invention, in combination with an adapted information medium, enables the reproduction, in a compact and clearly laid out manner, of information which is held thereon and which is intended for different user groups and different read-out methods.
