The feed wagon (7) travels in to the roll carrier (2) in a first position. An empty roll is removed and transferred to the feed wagon. The feed wagon travels in the same direction in to a second position and the full roll is brought into the roll carrier. The feed wagon travels to its starting position, in which the feed wagon simultaneously receives a full roll and the empty roll is removed. A dynamometer (51 fig. 4) is provided, which with a redn. of tension in the rope (22), transmits a signal to the control unit (50, fig. 4). As a result pneumatic motors (32,33, fig.4) are acted on with compressed air in the gripping position. In the unloading position of the rolls (19), the quick acting air release valve (52, fig. 4) opens. ADVANTAGE - Rolls can be brought to machine as quick as possible in essentially automatic operation. |
