The arming arrangement comprises a receiver (4) for receiving a transmitted arming and/or disarming signal and a microprocessor (2) which is controlled by a sub-routine to compare a signal received by the receiver (4) with a reference signal. In the event that the received and reference signals are dissimilar, the received signal is read again after ten seconds, and if still dissimilar, this indicates the presence of a jamming signal.
