<p>A process for preparing functionalized perfluoropolyoxyalkylenes, wherein the corresponding perfluoropolyoxyalkylenes containing peroxy bonds in the chain are reacted with a primary or a secondary alcohol, or mixtures of these alcohols, in the presence of a catalyst selected from iodine, hydriodic acid or alkaline metal iodides. The process leads to the obtainment of perfluoropolyoxyalkylenes having a high functionalization degree, which can be easily purified by removing the excess of alcohol through distillation.</p> |
