The spinneret for manufacturing the sea-island type composite fiber, after composite-spinning the fiber-forming polymer and the easily- soluble polymer which is extracted and removed at the later stage, comprises an extruding plate (1) and a converging plate (2) simplified by eliminating pipe parts, a distributing plate (3) and a re-converging plate (4). All plates satisfy the following condition: 0.2 mm <= orifice diameter of extruding plate <= 2.0 mm, orifice diameter of extruding plate <= orifice diameter of converging plate <= orifice diameter of extruding plate + 2.0 mm, 8 <= orifice number of extruding plate <= 72, orifice number of converging plate = orifice number of extruding plate, 0.1 mm <= thickness of storage room of converging plate <= 2.0 mm.
