<p>The device according to the invention comprises: three electrical terminals 11, 12, 13 to which are connected, respectively, an electrical battery 14 of a motor vehicle, a generator device 15 of the said vehicle, and all the user circuits 16 of the said vehicle; electrical contact means 21, 18; locking means 25; and electrical or electromechanical operating means 30, 30.1 which are normally switched off and which normally keep the said locking means 25 in an operating position, in which the said three electrical terminals 11, 12, 13 are electrically interconnected and consequently the user circuits 16 are electrically connected to the battery 14 and to the generator 15 of the vehicle. If the said electrical or electromechanical operating means 30, 30.1 are switched on - if the vehicle suffers a collision, for example - they automatically and instantaneously separate the said electrical contact means 21, 18 from the said electrical terminals 11, 13, and therefore cause the corresponding electrical circuits to become open. <IMAGE></p> |
