A roof supported by purlin beams (4) and consisting partly of a layer of small standardised supporting flat building elements (2) with a dimension primarily similar to the distance between the centre lines of two purlin beams (4), partly of possible additional insulation (6) on the top and bottom of the said layer, and partly of a number of rain protection layers (8, 10).The invention aims at solving the problem of obtaining a roof that combines properties that previously were considered difficult to combine. Among other things, these properties are:1. Freedom for the designer with regard to the selection of material and spans of the roof framework.2. Non-dependence of dimensional limitations during manufacture and transportation.3. Possibility of optimally dimensioning the framework by utilization of continuity in the purlins, as well as most economic section.4. Non-dependence in weather during instillation.5. Speedy installation. The solution to the problem is reached by having the roof consist of a number of larger roof elements arranged edge-to-edge. These elements are joined together without the use of supporting beams or similar structures each by a row of predetermined number of said building elements (2), together with the specified possible additional insulation (6) and at least one (8) of the specified rain protective layers, and covered with an additional mutual rain protection layer (10).<IMAGE> |
