The bowden cable connector is for a toilet flushing unit. There is a push-pull knob (4) mounted on the lid or wall (5) of the cistern, the knob being connected to the cable (10) and the mounting piece (33) on the wall holding the end of the sheath (20) surrounding the cable. The end of the cable remote from the knob is connected to a lever (2) operating the flush unit. The end (22) of the sheath is mounted rigidly on the flush unit.
