The quilt is used as a bed covering. It consists of two covering sheets stitched together at the edges and in various places (S1-S19) to form the quilt seams. The quilt is divided into two main areas (1,6) with a straight seam (4) running across its width at one third of the length from one end. The remaining seams are mostly curved, and form a pattern which is symmetrical about the longitudinal axis of the quilt, but is otherwise irregular. USE/ADVANTAGE - Quilt for bed is divided into head and body portions.
