<p>The guide rail assembly (1) comprises at least two support posts (2) and a rail (3) extending between the posts. Each rail comprises a hollow rail section (4) having end caps (5) at either end. The end caps each have an elongate lug (6) for sliding engagement in one of a number of mounting slots in a mounting element (10) of a support post. Each post comprises a base (15), a tubular post section (20) in which the mounting element (10) is inserted, a threaded rod (25) and an end cap (27). The end cap is removed for fitting the rail. Instead of the rail (3), a flexible rope may be used.</p> |
