<p>FLUID INJECTION SYSTEM PUMP AND PUMPING METHODS A system is disclosed for injecting or dispensing controlled volumes of liquid, such as sterilizing liquid for automated injections of small amounts of the liquid into a sterilizing chamber for items, such as medical instruments, to be sterilized. The fluid injection system comprises a cassette housing a plurality of closed, unpressurized cells each containing a predetermined quantity of the said liquid. A pumping mechanism having means for receiving the cassette and means for sequentially forcing fluid out of the cells, is also disclosed.</p> |
