The running wheels are used on sliding doors. Each wheel (5) has a central flange (7) extending into a U-shaped rail (2) set into the floor. The top of the U has a pair of inturned flanges (3a,3b), the gap between them being wide enough to admit the flange on the wheel. The running surfaces (6a,6b) on the wheel run on top of the rail flanges (3a,3b). A D-shaped frame closely surrounds the wheel, with the straight side of the D extending into the groove in the rail. At the end of the intended travel of the wheel there is a stop (17) with a resilient buffer (19) engaging a vertical portion (8a,8b) of the D-shaped frame. USE/ADVANTAGE - Stop at end of track for sliding door with no tendency of wheel to ride over it.
