SURFACE TREATING AGENT OF REFRACTORIES

摘要

A film treating agent for preventing water absorption comprises 100 wt.% of a mixture comprising 30˜60 wt.% vinyl resin and 40˜70 wt.% alcohol, and 1˜8 wt.% liquid silicon binder. It is used for iron-making, steel-making and industrial furnace refractory surface treatment. The thickness of the water preventive film is 50˜150 μm desirable, and the liquid silicon binder maximize the effect of water prevention and heat resistance.
