PURPOSE:To easily form a conductive roller which has nearly uniform volume resistivity and whose thickness is not uneven. CONSTITUTION:As for the conductive roller 1, the outer surface of a roller main body 5 is covered with a volume resistivity adjusting member 7 having elasticity, so that the volume resistivity of the conductive roller 1 is decided by the member T having the higher volume resistivity than the roller main body 5. It is unnecessary to form the volume resistivity of the roller main body 5 to be nearly uniform. The member 7 is formed of cloth or knit having the elasticity by using conductive fiber. Therefore, the member 7 is formed to have nearly uniform thickness and has the nearly uniform volume resistivity. By using the elasticity of the member 7, it is extremely easy operation to attach the member 7 to the roller main body 5. |
