PURPOSE:To eliminate the gain fluctuation of a light beam followup control system caused by the fluctuation of detective sensitivity due to the ambient temperature and the degradation of an optical inclination detection means, to improve the stability of the system and improve the reliability of recording and reproducing operation in an optical information recording and reproducing device following up a light beam to the track on a disk shape recording medium by inclining an optical reflection means. CONSTITUTION:This optical information recording and reproducing device is provided with the optical inclination detection means 104, an inclination signal generation means 105, a light quantity detection means 107 and a light emitting means control means 101. Thus, the fluctuation of inclination detective sensitivity due to the ambient temperature and the degradation is reduced and the gain fluctuation of the light beam followup control system is reduced drastically. Further, when light emission efficiency is lowered due to the degradation of a light emitting means, the acceleration of the degradation is prevented. |
