PURPOSE:To provide a power supply switch that can eliminate various types of noise coming in and going out of an apparatus via the power supply switch section. CONSTITUTION:Power supply switch 2 has a contact point section 2-1 for opening and closing a power supply circuit for supplying power to a copying machine and a coil section 2-3 for driving and automatically shutting off this contact point section. Further, since between the contact point section 2-1 and the coil section 2-3, there is installed a shielding member 2-2 for electromagnetic and electrostatic shielding, internal noise from a DC power supply section 9 and control section 10 in the machine can be protected by the shielding member 2-2 from leaking to commercial power supply 1 via the power supply switch 2. Likewise, a lightning surge or high frequency noise from the commercial power supply 1 can be protected by the shielding member 2-2 from entering the DC power supply section 9 and control section 10 via the power supply switch 2. |
