PURPOSE: To absorb shock, vibration and oscillation caused by the reversal rotation of a comparatively heavy subscanning device in a moving direction when the device is moved forward and backward at a high speed, and to prevent the occurrence of distortion in copying. CONSTITUTION: The subscanning device is attached so as to be moved forward and backward. The subscanning device is driven so as to be moved forward and backward by a driving device, a main motor driven material 118, an advancing clutch gear 121, an advancing scanning idle gear 122, reversing and advancing scanning driving gears 123 and 124, a reversing clutch 125, a scanning driving shaft 122, sprockets 132, 134, 140 and 142, chains 136 and 138, etc., then, a reactive force is generated. An opposite force in terms of direction is generated by a balancing device, slide bars 150 and 152 and balance weights 154 and 156, etc., so as to counterbalance the reaction. |
