PURPOSE:To enable light emitted to be radiated in all directions by pointing the base of a long-size fluorescent lamp upward, and using a support plate to support a mounting member being locked to the base. CONSTITUTION:A mounting member 20 is mounted on a fluorescent lamp 10 and is passed through the through hole 501 of a support plate 50. The stepped portion 239 of an mounting piece 230 is engaged with the stepped portion 505 of the through hole 501. The mounting member 20 is supported to the support plate 50 by engagement of the stepped portion 239 with the stepped portion 505, and the fluorescent lamp 10 having the mounting member 20 attached thereto is supported on the support plate 50 while being vertically extended with its base 103 pointed upward. A sealant 509 is pressed into contact with the inner peripheral surface 503 of the through hole 501 and the peripheral surface 237 of the mounting piece 230 so as to ensure airtightness and watertightness therebetween. Next the base through hole of a fixed plate 30 is passed over the base 103 of the fluorescent lamp 10 and attaching screws are passed through the screw through holes of the fixed plate 30 and are threadably engaged in the tapped holes of the support plate 50. The mounting member 20 is thereby fixed to the support plate 50. |
