PURPOSE:To provide a composition of small temperature coefficient of resonance frequency for a dielectric ceramic used in a microwave region, which can be sintered at a low temperature, the dielectric constant of which is high, and the unloaded Q of which is large. CONSTITUTION:A composition consisting of lead oxide, strontium oxide, calcium oxide, iron oxide, tantalum oxide and of niobium oxide is defined by a formula of (Pb1-x-ySryCax)1+a{Fe1/2(Ta1-zNbz)1/2}O3+a, where (z) and (a) are in the range of 0.0<=z<=1.0, 0.0<=a<=0.08. When (x) and (y) are expressed by a triangular diagram of Figure 1, they consist of compositions in the region surrounded by four composition points of a, b, c, d as follows: a: (x=0.43, y=0.0), b: (x=0.3, y=0.25), c: (x=0.3, y=0.4), d: (x=0.70, y=0.0), while this does not apply to points on the line connecting (a) to (d). |
