PURPOSE:To facilitate the highly accurate adjustment of an optical axis. CONSTITUTION:An optical information recording/reproducing device contains a separate optical system head consisting of a mobile optical head and a fixed optical head having a light source. Then a gap where a prism 6 can minutely move and rotate to give the fine adjustment to a collimating optical axis 7 which is reflected and bent is provided between the prism 6 and the staircase- shaped wall surfaces 11 formed in a carriage 3. Therefore the position and the angle of the prism 6 can be adjusted with the prism 6 kept in a carriage hole 17. Thus the prism 6 can be set at a proper position secured between both surfaces 11. In such a constitution, the angular error of the axis 7 can be eliminated to an ideal optical axis. |
