PURPOSE:To attain proper exposure control by direct photometry by providing a photometry element collecting a reflected light from an image pickup face of a solid-state image sensor to detect the light to the camera and implementing exposure control based on an output of the photometry element. CONSTITUTION:A photometry element 4 is arranged at a position where a reflected image pickup light in an image pickup face 3a of a solid-state image pickup sensor 3 is collected by an image forming lens 5. An image forming lens 5 is used to collect a reflected light in the center of the image pickup face 3a onto a light receiving face of the photometry element 4 to form the image. A photometry output by the photometry element 4 is fed to an exposure control section (not shown in Figure), in which control of a shutter speed and an aperture and flash control of a strobo 10 are implemented. A quick return mirror 6 is provided between an image pickup lens 1 and the solid-state image sensor 3, an object image is formed on a focusing screen 7 by the image pickup light reflected in the quick return mirror 6, and the object image is confirmed through a mirror 8 and a fine lens 9. |
