PURPOSE:To eliminate the generation of burrs by applying a cross-linking hardening type surface treating agent to the light incoming-outgoing end faces, then pressing light transmissible plain plates to the end faces, and hardening the surface treating agent by irradiation with the outer edge parts in the light intercepted state. CONSTITUTION:After applying a cross-linking hardening type surface treating agent 14 to the light incoming-outgoing end faces of a light transmission body array 11, light transmissible plain plates 15 are pressed to the surface treating agent applied surface. Light intercepting parts 16 are installed on the surface parts, corresponding to the outer edge parts of the light incoming-outgoing end faces, of the light transmissible plain plates 15, and light is radiated thereto by irradiation parts 17 so as to harden the surface treating agent 14 into the polymerized state. When the plain plates 15 are removed, the parts intercepted by the light intercepting parts 16 remain unhardened. The unhardened material is removed by cleaning the light transmission body array 11, and it is desirable to harden the residual surface treating agent in the unhardened surface treating agent removed part after removal by further irradiation. |
