PURPOSE:To facilitate carriage, assembling, repair, and the like by dividing a ranging optical system into a ranging unit and a telescopic optical system, to simplify the structure and operation by employing a common filter member, and to suppress error due to fluctuation of phase difference by transmitting the reflected light, from the same optical path as that for ranging light, on a reference optical path. CONSTITUTION:The ranging optical system comprises a ranging unit 33 and a telescopic optical system 26 connected through optical fibers 24, 25. A translucent reflecting member 13 is disposed within effective range of ranging light having beam angle including no phase difference of light source 3 beam and a reference optical path is provided while being bent substantially in perpendicular to the ranging light advancing straight so that a reference light transmitted through a light quantity regulating ND filter 8 impinges on a light receiving section 6. On the other hand, ranging light transmitted through the translucent member 13 passes through a common filter 8 thence collected at a connecting terminal 27 and outputted from a ranging optical path 10 in the optical system 26. Ranging light impinged on a connecting terminal 30 along a return ranging optical path 10' passes through the common filter 8 and collected at the light receiving section 6. |
