PURPOSE:To curtail the consumption of journal paper, and to improve the operating efficiency by performing printing of history information by using both faces of the surface and the reverse side of the journal paper. CONSTITUTION:A journal printer control part 21 is provided with a driving printing head control part 21a for controlling selectively either of A and B printing heads Ha, Hb in accordance with the carrying direction of journal paper 20. In such a state, in the case the journal paper 20 is being carried toward a direction from a supply roller R1 to a coiling roller R2, the driving printing head control part 21a drives the A printing head Ha and realizes printing onto the surface of the journal paper 20. On the other hand, in the case the journal paper 20 is being carried toward a direction from the coiling roller R2 to the supply roller R1, printing onto the reverse side of the journal paper 20 is realized by driving the B printing head Hb. That is, between the supply roller R1 and the coiling roller R2, the joural paper 20 is reciprocally carried, and printing is executed on the surface and the reverse side in the going path and the return path, respectively. |
