PURPOSE:To relieve the user from trouble of erasing a message by storing a message and time information every time the message is received, checking the time information with a built-in clock timer periodically and erasing the message when a prescribed time elapses. CONSTITUTION:A call signal and an information signal received by a radio section 2 via a built-in antenna 1 are demodulated and after a control section 5 confirms the coincidence with an individual call number in a PROM, the control section 5 stores the signals to a memory 9 and uses an alarm device 8 to inform the arrival of a call to the user. An external operation member 13 sends the stored message to a drive circuit 10 via the control section 5 and displays it onto an LCD display device 12. A crystal oscillation circuit 11 sends a clock signal to the control section 5 and the circuit 10. The control section 5 stores time information to the memory 9 together with the information signal every time the message is received. The control section 5 compares the received time with a current time and erases automatically the confirmed message in 23 hours after the reception. |
