LIGHT PATH IDENTIFYING METHOD

PURPOSE:To provide a method of multifiber light path easily and correctly at its end part. CONSTITUTION:The respective optical fibers of multifiber light pathes 50 are selectively provided with reflecting parts to be identification marks 39, and the existence of reflected light from the respective optical fibers at the time of injecting inspection light from one ends of these light pathes 50 is detected to identify the multifiber light pathes 50 on the basis of the detected result. When the inspection light is injected from one end of each multifiber light path 50 by a light emission part 20, this light is reflected by the reflecting part of the identification mark 39 and returned to the incident end. The combination of the existence of the reflecting parts in the respective optical fibers is differentiated light path by light path, and the reflected light is measured by a light receiving part 21 to enable the identification of the multifiber light path 50 from the measured result.
