PURPOSE:To provide a camera capable of attaining an operation for releasing at the desired position of an operator by providing a release button so as to be moved in a direction perpendicular to an optical axis, on the top surface of a camera main body. CONSTITUTION:A belt 13 fits the holding base 12 of the release button 11, and move the upper face of a camera main body 1 in a longitudinal direction perpendicular to the optical axis, and stretched on a guiding pin 14. On the top face of a printed circuit board 15 disposed in the longitudinal direction, in the lower side of the release button 11, a pair of wiring patterns 15a and a wiring pattern 15b therebetween, are formed. When the release button 11 is moved to a position where the operation for releasing is easy, the belt 13 is moved in the same direction as that of the release button 11. When the release button 11 is depressed to release, the conductive part 11a' of a rubber 11a comes into contact with the wiring pattern 15a, to attain the photometry and range-finding actions of an object, and then, the conductive part 11b' of a rubber 11b comes into contact with the wiring pattern 15b to start the opening/closing actions of a shutter. |
